Adiscon LogAnalyzer up to 4.1.6 Login Button Referer Field login.php cross site scripting

A vulnerability was found in Adiscon LogAnalyzer up to 4.1.6. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file login.php of the component Login Button Referer Field. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. As an impact it is known to affect integrity. An attacker might be able to inject arbitrary html and script code into the web site. This would alter the appearance and would make it possible to initiate further attacks against site visitors.

The weakness was released 12/05/2018. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-19877 since 12/05/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.

Upgrading to version 4.1.7 eliminates this vulnerability.
